Grrrr... nothing is as agrivating as this... I uninstalled a program, specifically speed download 2, by placing it in the trash bin and emtying the bin. Come to find out it messed up all the download capabilities of Safari, Explorer, Camino. I realized later on that I was supposed to go into the folder and use the uninstall file.
Does anyone know of a way to fix this? I don't want to have to re install OSX to fix this!!

Any suggestions? Please?!!

i'd either:

a) re-install the download program and then use the uninstall file that comes with the app, or

b) delete Safari and reinstall it through Software Update.


the first is probably a bit easier.

Check in either /Library/Internet Plugins/ or ~/Library/Internet Plugins/ for the Speed Download plugin and remove it.

There is no need to reinstall the browsers.
