fetch : http://fetchsoftworks.com/
transmit: http://www.panic.com/transmit/ (seems to be down currently)

The finder does have ftp support, however there are some things that don't work fully

While Fetch and Transmit are good, they aren't exactly free.

Search versiontracker.com for FUGU (SFTP), or D1FTP, or FTP Thingy.

For just the most basic FTP functionality, the Finder desktop FTP works well enough for me.

Uhhh, with *the* 'ftp' and 'sftp' available for free in Terminal,
what more do you need?

Well, sftp isn't FTP, it's file transfer over SSH. Different protocols.

And ftp is a bit too barebones as a ftp client for heavier use. NcFTP, on the other hand, is a -really- nice Unix client. I think it's the best one...

Finder FTP would be the most convenient, but it's so buggy that it's almost dangerous to use it. Stay away from uploads.
