OmniGroup apps optimized for G5?

I know I am getting ahead of myself (don't own a G5, but soon 100,000 people will) but I was wondering when OmniGroup was going to announce new versions of OmniWeb, OmniGraffle, etc.. all optimized for the G5?
Have they been testing on a G5? Seen any improvements?
Any value in doing so?
Curious OG watcher wants to know...

AFAIK, we haven't done any optimization specifically for the G5 simply because we don't own one.
But then, who needs to optimize anything on a freaking G5?!?!

Most of what can be done in terms of G5 optimizations right now is also G5-specific. Any G5-specific routines we write won't be of use to G4 and G3 Macs, so we'll have to maintain separate routines for them.
Also, most of the code in our apps doesn't stand to benefit a great deal from 64-bit math or other G5-specific optimizations; really, most of the CPU time we spend doesn't go to calculation and computation. There are a few places where our app's performance is bound to the computation abilities of the CPU -- the fuzzy shadows in OmniGraffle 3, for example -- but those already plenty fast enough on the G5. (Or so we expect.) In other words, the people who really need our code to be faster in that area aren't the people using G5s, so we'd be better served by making whatever optimizations are possible for all CPUs.
We will eventually be releasing versions of our apps which are built with the new compilers, though, so you may see some minor improvements on the G5 when that happens. Again, minor improvements -- the biggest performance improvement you're likely to see is the one you get by moving from a G4 to a G5 with currently available versions of our software.

Shucks....
(I always hope that if I can get Tim or Rick posting they will let a little too much slip about OW5.0 or some other fun new project).
Here is to hoping you guys can get a G5 soon..

Hehehe,
"Optimizing wouldn't really benefit most our routines, except maybe for OW5's new.... waitasec!"

EXACTLY..
Or...
"We are planning on optimizing OW5 for the next sneaky peak... oops"
or
"I really shouldn't be telling you this but..."
