#1 Allow iChat to send colors to AIM clients! It's not that hard to use the same variable for color as it is in ballontextcolor (if you've looked at a packet coming out of iChat you'll know what I mean)
#2 Use Background Color AND text background color in info. I can't read some of my friends info in iChat because they think that doing weird crap with their colors is "cool"
#3 Larger Info box
#4 Allow us to see away messages even if they go idle.
#5 Allow us to warn AIM users, if they can warn us and limit our text input we should be allowed to warn back.

i think apple didnt add those for a reason...my guess is they're dropping the AIM protocol and sticking with their .Mac one. they might want us chatting only with other mac users, and not experience that crappy warn feature or those damn conflicting colors....i duno just a guess

I have a friend who uses Trillian and he can't even see what I write because the twit uses a black text BG.
I'd also LOVE to see a better interface. It seems almost every brushed metal app is single window sept iChat.
When iChat could gain the most from being single window.
