I am switching my primary mail client from Windoze to Mac... and one thing I am looking forward to is the superior Junk Mail filtering from Apple Mail...

I get 200 spams a day. And its been a long time since I deleted any of it, because I so often miss a real email among all the spam my filters identify. Soooo... I have tens of thousands of spam that Apple Mail could potentially be learning from.

I am using Andreas Amann's fantastic Eudora Mail Cleaner (a pre-release version) to convert all my email from Eudora to Mail. Sooo....

QUESTION: Is there any way for me to tell Apple Mail to do its junk mail processing on existing folders of mail?

I'd love to accelerate its learning big time!

In Mail, simply go to the folder containing your junk email, select all of the messages, and then either hit the "Junk" button (if it's on your toolbar) or select "Mark As Junk Mail" from the "Message" menu.
