My guess would be yes. When installing it, I had the option whether or not to install the iDvd themes, so that makes me think, yes.
However, I haven't confirmed this yet.

When installing DVD Studio it asked if you wanted the iDVD themes? If so, then it makes sense DVD Studio can leverage all the iDVD themes out there...

Yep, that was pretty much what I thought.
If I get a chance to poke around in there today, I will let you know if you can use iDvd themes for sure or not.

Well, I played around (briefly) with Dvd Studio Pro 2, and I don't see any proof that iDvd2 themes actually work. Sorry to get your hopes up.
It looked like it was just a simple matter of importing the theme files,

but when I tried to do it, DSP 2 wouldn't recognize any of the iDvd themes.
Let me know if you want me to try anything else.

iDVD 3 themes? The one's I have won't work with iDVD 2. Maybe they'll work with DVD Studio Pro 2 since they changed format? That would be great. Thanks.

I was trying the iDvd3 themes. I don't even think I tried iDvd2.
Want me to give that a go?

No thanks. I thought you had mentioned trying iDVD 2 initially. If iDVD 3 won't work, I doubt the other will. Thanks for the effort. Up and beyond the call. It's appreciated!

Yay! I got my copy of DVDSP 2 in the mail today. According to the manual, you can import projects from iDVD 2 & 3 but only those that use the Apple provided themes. I would test it out for ya but I don't have iDVD installed on my computer.

Slick shoes?!! Are you crazy?!!
