Hi,

How do I go about deleting Aquisition. I get an error that says "The item "Aquisition" cannot be moved to the trash because it cannot be deleted."

There's is no Move to Trash item in the contextual menu. I tried looking at the permissions to see if that was the problem but I have read & write access.

thank you in advance

EDIT: Nevermind, I figured out that I could try and set the permissions for the Applications folder to my name instead of system and it worked

Just to be safe, run Disk Utility (in /Applications/Utilities), select "First Aid" and have it Repair Permissions. There might be some more stuff that some rogue installer messed up.

You're welcome; Repairing permissions is one of those maintenance chores that *should* be unnecessary, but unfortunately aren't - yet.

Good idea to do it every once in a while.
