I have been trying to get the new version of Entourage to connect to our Exchange server for weeks. I have been able to access my calendar and contacts but I cannot get mail!
I have an active account on my Windows box. I have tried using the connection assistant to set up an account in Entourage but I always get the message that certain information can't be obtained and it stops there. I have tried a manual configuration but while I find the server, my account and password are rejected. I have tried with two colleague's accounts without any succuss. However, I can set an account in Entourage using the admin account settings!
Recently, we upgraded to Exchange Server 2003 with default IMAP support. Still no success! Coincidentially, no one can use their Outlook clients outside the network. We have Web Access only.
Any advice would be most welcome. In particular, what settings need to changed on the server to give access to IMAP?
