Windows Media Player doesn't respond.

Everytime I try to open WMP it doesn't respond. I don't know why, I got MPlayerX but it doesnt have a plugin for the browser so I can't watch clips on ESPN.com for example. Anyone else has had this problem with WMD?

Are you aware that the WMP browser plug-in only works in Internet Explorer?

Note to Micro$oft, this "application" needs some serious codec updates...only been a few years now since it's release.

Well is not only the plugins. The application itself doesn't want to open. I have IE and doesn't work either.
