I just re-installed OS X and I believe the way I did it, I no longer have classic installed and I don't have OS 9 on my computer anymore.
I own the first ibook 500, and it came with OS 9 CD's.
So I have Applworks 6.0, but I can't get it too install from the CD... something about not enough free space and it doesn't work at all using classic since as I said, I dont' think i have it.
Before, when I had OS 9, I could downlaod the 6.2.7 update and that worked.
I don't want to install OS 9... i finally moved into a totally Mac X world.
what are my options?
Is my only option to buy a new copy of Appleworks that I assume would install properly?
It's 80 bucks... not a huge deal since I love Appleworks... I used Word, but only when I have to give documents to my friends... of course maybe I could move on.. but I have many documents in Appleworks... I assume Word could convert them?
Just wondering if there is a way around this problem?
thank you.
