I have a full copy of Final Cut 2.0 and the upgrade for Final Cut 3. I want to install it on my 12" powerbook. I installed Final Cut 2 in classic, but then when I tried to launch it to register the serial number (so that you can install final cut 3) it says "That application or control panel is not supported by Classic". Powerbooks can't boot into OS 9. Is there ANY way I can install Final Cut 3 onto my powerbook?? I'm starting to think that this non-bootable-into-OS-9 thing was a really bad idea.

I think you should talk to Apple and they will send you a full copy of FCP3. Or you could do what I did and feel self righteous enough to download a full copy, based on the fact that you have the disks...
