One of the advantages of itunes music store over other services is that you have more flexible user rights with the music files. Including burning to a CD.

I'm sure this has been discussed but I couln't find it....If I can't convert the ACC file to an AIFF file what good is being able to burn CD's?

Most newer CD players play MP3's but do they play MP4? Also, many CD players (especially, in cars) only play AIFF.

So, at least for me the only place I can play a CD with MP4 files is on my computer...

Does anyone know a way around this?

Thanks

"Whenever you select a playlist in your library, the Browse button automatically turns into the Burn button. Click Burn CD, insert a blank disc, and iTunes burns away. It’s that simple. What’s more, you can burn every song you download from the iTunes Music Store. You can even mix and match these songs with your existing MP3 collection."

Not sure I get your point. When you burn an "Audio CD," (conforms to that standard format) it converts all your music, whether wav, mp3 or AAC to the CD/AIFF format autmoatically. So the music you purchase at the iTMS can be converted to AIFF format by burning an Audio CD. If you burn a Data CD, it leaves the files as .m4p format. You can choose what kind of CD you want to burn in iTunes' preferences.
