does anyone know if there's a mac reader for .chm files on windoze? (it's the format the windoze help files use)

You may download the chm tools from this url http://www.speakeasy.org/~russotto/chm/. If you have the developer tools installed you can just use make to produce the executable file. Haven't tried it though, so I have no idea how well it works.
