Looking for some recommendations to do the Point-of-Sales (POS) and Accounts for a small startup company.

Budget: preferably freeware? :/

Don't know of any for Free !?!

However, if you want to purchase one, I'm seriously looking at http://www.viewtouch.com/

The owner created the first graphical POS system and has been in the business full time. Their system is based on FreeBSD - Linux - Mac OS X. It's quite an amazing system....but it is not free.

What are the Apple Stores using? I know it is a pretty comprehensive OSX application.

XpertMart has a Mac POS you might be interested in. It's not shareware but there is a free trial version you can download.
