Well, it could be any of the above... have you examined the headers of the junk you're getting? Sounds like it just suddenly started for you... if so, then it may be some oddity that you can remedy. However, if its been slowly building, you may be stuck resorting to filtering it away. I get 200 junk emails per day. Its dragged down my productivity substantially over the last 18 months... and is part of my reason for switching to Apple Mail... I'm praying its junk mail filtering will be able to learn well enough to significantly reduce the burdent its been using my hand-crafted filtering. So far I am fairly pleased... but it still has a fair amount of learning to do (I've only run the last week of mail through it so far to train it... a mere 1400 messages... I may run the rest of August through it later this week.)

That probably wasn't too much help... but without knowing the pattern of junk you are seeing, its hard to even take a WAG.

I get all these undeliverable messages that it says i sent from my address, but the name next to it is always different... tons of e-mails bouching bakc to me, that I didnt' send.

I really think this should be a crime where people get the chair, anyone who does this is a real jerk.

Probably someone who had your address in their address book got the Sobig.f virus. It spoofs outgoing emails with return addresses from the infected person's email address book. Got any friends who use Windows?

Assuming you are not using MS Outlook and actually guilty due to a virus infection, then you are probably being victimized by someone else (a buddy maybe) using Outlook who didn't bother to load the security fixes... where the virus is sending out email from their system but using your email address as the from... leading you to getting slammed with the bounces. No fun... but you're just one of many many others (if it makes you feel any better).

Best thing to do is to contact your email host sysadmin and ask them to setup some system-side filters to block such undeliverable messages. Most sysadmins of major systems have been dealing with this the last couple weeks. There are solutions out there.

Oh, and you might want to send a thank you to Redmond for providing the wonderful software that Outlook is.
