Hi,

I have a problem where Safari doesn't remember passwords for a site that requires them for access. It used to be that Safari asked if I wanted to remember the user name password for such sites, and entered them automatically on future visits, but it no longer asks and I can't figure out why.So I have to enter the login name and password every time.

Any ideas would be welcome. The same website works well with Safari from my Mac at work, so there must be something wrong with my set up here.

Thanks,

Nike

Have you looked in the preferences? Isn't there a "Never" option when it asks to remember? You may have clicked that. Anyway, I believe there is a Passwords setting in the Preferences where you can remove the setting to not ask you at that particular site.

I noticed that as well. I also looked in my keychain and noticed it puts "htps://" instead of "https://" for the URL, wonder if that affects it since its actually the wrong url/protocol technically.
