Is there some software I can use to make whole folders go invisible in the finder (in OSX.2)?
I am getting ready to do a reinstall and I want to install Classic this time but I don't want the folders showing up in the finder so they don't get messed with.
If the item is at the root of the drive, then you can just add the name of the file or folder to /.hidden. You can also set the invisibility bit with the Terminal., however, I don't remember the command right now.
