The poll is BACK

I was using OW4.5 for a long time, then I made the switch to Safari (I liek tabs) and now I'm using both safari and camino. They both kick ass equally, I just can't wait for 0.8 or 0.75!!

oh and. I wanna preorder OW5.0.

I use Safari as my main browser.

I also like to keep a Gecko-based browser around for the ONE website that won't work in
Safari. Lately I've been leaning away from Camino and towards Firebird because Camino's development seems to have slowed to a crawl.

Main Browser: Safari
Runner-Up: OmniWeb

When OmniWeb 5.0 w/ tab-like features come out, it may just be my main browser.

Camino still does (almost) everything I need it to do, and without an ugly brushed-metal interface at that.

1. Safari 90%
2. Camino 9.9%
3. IE 0.1%

But when Camino reaches 7.5 or 8.0, I'll probably go back.. No metal for plz.. And it does seem to render faster when several tabs are open.

Uhh.. And its cache doesnt suck..

I keep IE, moz, omni all around just in case. There are a couple sites that I don't visit often, but they ONLY work with IE. I use omni for their "save all linked images as" and "save all linked files as". That's an item unique to it.

I use Mozilla 1.4 only. I'm suprised only one other person so far voted for it. It may not be the prettiest, but is the fastest and most customizable bar none. The only other browsers I keep around are Safari and IE, and only because they come with the OS.

I use Safari as my main browser. But I find IE supports standards more, and more sites are made for it.

The second half of this sentence is indeed true, but the first half is definitely not.

Anyway, my vote: OmniWeb 4.5, all the way. All the goodness of Safari's engine, plus type-ahead select, toolbar keywords, pop-out text fields, a spellchecking feature that stays on, and a real Cocoa toolbar rather than some awful Netscape 4 thing that you have to go to the View menu to add/remove things from. It doesn't have tabs, but that doesn't bother me since I never use them. All in all, OmniWeb gets 4 's out of 5.

IE: (0/5)

btw, sorry that I had to break this up across multiple posts like this. MacNN seems to have a limit on the number of smilies in a post.
