Right now, any time I go to www.apple.com, it crashes Safari. IE is not bothered.
Just me? Anyone else get the same?

Just you right now. But because Apple was just updating their website not that long ago, that might be the reason, but still... I don't know why that would cause the crash of your Safari...
Safari has crash on me before, but never on apple.com so far.

Weird... still crashes for me. I can access macnn and most other sites just fine. I am typing this response in Safari. But I go to anything at apple.com... *crash*...
What could possibly be peculiar about me or my computer that would make Safari (but not IE) crash on any attempt to visit apple.com???

Can't really tell you much here... sorry. The only thing I can tell you is to either reset your Safari, or get rid of it and install it again to see if they fixes it...
Anyone else have any ideas to help him?

Its no longer crashing this afternoon.
I hope it crashed for some people at Apple this morning so that they could find the bug. Its a little worrisome that IE is going away and Safari still crashes periodically. I hope everyone is taking the time to report the bugs they find to Apple. There's a real easy dialog from the Safari menu.
