itunes 4.0.1 crashes with KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE when changing the rating of a playing song (its easiest to set the rating while you are listening to a song not after). i don't think it used to do this. my songs are aac and exist on a separate hard disk (about 7000 songs). i tried deleted the pref file and reimporting the library and so on but no luck. any ideas?

found the answer on apple forums. there is a plug in called fountain or somthing like that. remove it and it works
