Hello... I've just finally download iChat to try it out, I haven't used it at all before because I don't know anyone on AIM or Rendezvous. Everyone I know are all on MSN Messenger... I'm the only person that uses a Mac around here, all my friends are PCers. Anyways... is there like a chat room or something like that where you can get to know other Mac/Rendezvous users? if not... I guess I'll just have to stick with MSN Messenger until iChat somehow can use MSN Messenger on its program.

Ming,

iChat will most likely never use the MSN Messenger protocol to log on to it's service. Microsoft is now charging third party developers a fee to allow their apps to connect to the service. I don't see Apple handing over money for this, rather I see the two companies as competitors in the IM race. I'd imagine that the Apple/AOL deal is probably exclusive as well.

If you'd like to try out iChat, there are a couple of web sites that allow you to find iChat users, such as ichatfinder.com and ichatters.com. Give those a try if you want, or continue to use MSN Messenger, since most of the people you know use that. In the end, both applications let you do the same thing.

You should get iSight as soon as possible. You'll realize how much you're missing lately

Well, I'm all signed up at ichatfinders.com just in about 3 hours I had 30+ hits that looked at my profile, but.... all male not a single female... that's pretty sad... oh well... at least I have a profile out there now.
