you require 2 applications along with Toast, DVDBackup and DVD2one.
Doing a forum search brings up this thread with lot's of info on how to do it.

P.s. Can we get this info in to the FAQ? It's asked at least once a week.

For Windows there's DVD CopyWare. That would seem like a neat one to have running on Mac OS X.

What is intriguing to me is that there is such a program in the first place, what with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and all. I wonder how the company gets around that.

I mailed them yesterday about whether there would be a Mac OS X version. I don't know the statistics, but I wouldn't be surprised if Macs are still fairly strong in numbers of computers with DVD-R drives.

this one is not technically free, but it's open source so you can compile it yourself for free
