I have noticed an odd issue with Toast 6, when burning a DVD I notice that the BEST setting for burns in Toast 6 examines the DVD to see what would be the best speed based on the media and the computer.
I am using the exact same media and in Toast 5 it burns at 4X DVD, but in Toast 6 I get different speed burns.
I burned a disc last night and it took well over the 4X time in toast 6 with the best setting selected so I am assuming it picked 1X as best, so for the next I selected 4X DVD as the burn setting and again it took well over the 4X speed I get in Toast 5 and not only that I got glitches when viewing this disc on my DVD.
So what is the deal here? Again it's the exact same media and in Toast 5 it always burns at 4X with no problems. Anyone else get this strange behavior?
