I purchased Quicken 2004 via download (mostly due to not wanting to wait for shipping). I've now realized that was a mistake, as my wife would really benefit from a printed manual. I'll read the PDF, but she won't mess with that.

Does anyone have the printed manual that they would be willing to part with? I'll pay a reasonable fee for shipping.

I've looked around and the most recent book I can find covers Quicken 2001 for Mac. Are there any more recent books, or plans for books?

Hi: I'm with your wife. I always prefer a written book. Check amazon, using "quicken 2004" and Mac as keywords.

I KNOW there are more recent editions than 2004, in any case. I own Tom Negrino's Quicken 2003 for Macintosh, which should work fairly well. Maria Langer also writes a Quicken for Mac book. I don't know about 2003, but she has a 202 edition.

You might want to check your local library; then you can see which ones you prefer before you buy.

Good luck.

There are books for Quicken 2004, but no mention of Mac. Are the Windows/Mac version close enough that it doesn't matter?

Do you like the Tom Negrino book? There are no reviews of it at Amazon.

I don't recall when last Intuit included a full printed manual with Quicken Mac....there certainly was not one in the boxed copy of v2002 I bought, nor with the 2003 either. So either buy a book (if one exists) or get the pdf manual printed out.....
