Ok... I have had to reformat... How do I get my purchased music back to my computer? I go to "check for purchased music" but it tells me that all puchased music has been dwnloaded to this computer... Um... no it hasn't. Any ideas? Thanks! Also, I searched, but no one else seemed to have this problem.

All as artificial as the Matrix itself, although only a human mind could invent something as insipid as Love.

You put back from your backup. If you didn't back it up, it is lost. You can not re-download from the iTMS.

No. If you'd bought a CD and then thrown it away you couldn't go around saying that the record label milked you for the price of the CD, could you? As Art Vandelay said, you should've backed up.

A) They shouldn't have a OPTION IN THE MENU that basically says GET MY MUSIC BACK. What other reason does that have to be there?
B) I can redownload any book I buy off audible.com. When I throw a real book away, I can't get it back... BUT I can online so saying that I shouldn't be able to is silly. Opening something online brings about a whole new way of doing things that you can't/wouldn't do in the real world.
Also, thanks for the info.

The menu option is for downloading music that you haven't downloaded yet. You can purchase music without downloading it if you use the shopping cart system. It is also for those times when a download doesn't complete.
