There hasn't been much new information about either program, and both have been updated relatively recently.

I was wondering if there were any new features on either of the program that anyone has noticed?

Go to Apple's ARD page for its new features. TB2 hasn't had hardly any new features added to it in a long while. TB2 6.0 was basically just OS X support. The 6.0.x updates have been bug fixes and more features added back that used to be in the Classic OS versions. I think it's been almost a year since TB2 6.0.3 was released. ARD 1.2 came out in March or April this year.

So which works better? Either support multiple monitors?
