First of all I have a 1ghz TiBook 1gb Ram running OS X 10.2.6

I boot off Diskwarrior 3 disk. It builds an optimized directory but then tells me it can't update the old one due to a "MAC OS services failure" I've rebooted and tried this many times with the same result.

What is a guy to do? Any suggetsions would be greatly appreciated.

I have never seen this error message before. Did you contact Alsoft?

For me, Diskwarrior has worked 99% of the time. The only time it couldn't complete repairs was due to a hardware problem (damaged hard drive). So, it's possible you have a defective hardware component.

Best to submit the error message to Alsoft.
