Available on the MS website. Don't know what it does since there are no release notes identifying bug fixes or new features. Seems to work fine for my IntelliMouse Explorer. However, this update still does not respect the "Ignore trackpad while typing" and "Ignore trackpad when mouse is present" system preferences. So I might as well have not installed it.

Installed it..

5 min later,

Uninstalled it.

Trust me, it's not worth your time unless you want to program those extra buttons on your mouse.

As far as I can tell, it is to enable the IntelliPoint software on G5s (and presumably other USB 2.0 Macs). The pervious version of the drivers refused to recognise my mouse on my G5, although it had no problem on my old iMac. The new version detects the mouse on my G5 with no difficulties.
