So I heard that I can broadcast video over the internet with my iSight using quicktime broadcaster. I read the help from the application and found out that to do a one-one broadcast all I need is the IP of the other computer and send them this .sdp or .spd file, right?

Well I have been trying it with my GF but it wont work. I will broadcast and all, but her quicktime player just says ready and gets stuck there. What am I missing here?

Thanks.

Do you both have broadband? If either one of you only has a dial-up connection, you won't be able to do what you're trying. Even if you do both have broadband, you'll need to set Broadcaster to use a "cable modem" safe bitrate. I think there is a preset for it.
