OK , im really starting to think that quicktime stream is crap, when i want to stream keynote, it doesnt do it, i see it frame by frame and the sounds plays and stops etc.... Its not my connection, i do very fast download ( 500 ks). I just dont understand why it doesnt work. One more funny thing, when i clicked on the link , it called realone player instead of quicktime!!! The only way i could stop it was to delete realone lol help me plz this sucks thank you.

On the poor streaming, do you have an old version of 3iVX codec installed? There was a bug with it that killed MP4 streams, it would play like crap if it played at all since it would usually beachball.

Get the current version.

On the Real Player coming up, it probably set itself as the default app for streams.

You can either go into System Preferences > Quicktime > Plug-in tab > Mime settings... button or you can open Real Player > Preferences > Media Types

You might want to visit both just to make sure one gets a default assignment.
