Hello all,
I am looking for some software to very simply keep track of the time spent working on different projects. I seem to remember some being mentioned on here, particularly one which allows you to switch between projects using a menu item.

Although if anyone has any other suggestions, I am looking for something minimal that will let me export a timesheet, I don't really need invoicing features and advanced things like that.

Any ideas,

Thanks in advance,
BJPirt

Hi -- I use TimeSlice. It used to be from Casady and Greene, but I think it got sold, or something. I'm on version 2.5.1.

It was somewhat pricey (not shareware) -- in the $60 range, I believe. But it does what I need it to do. It has export features which, quite frankly, I've never even used.

I believe there's a demo out there of it.

Also, I know I downloaded once a demo for something called Time Cache (in fact, I just trashed it yesterday!) That one seemed promising, too.

Try Tucows -- the software site -- and do a search, as well. There probably are cheaper shareware programs out there.

I already spent quite a while looking on versiontracker and there was nothing quite what I was looking for. Couldn't find anything which used a menu item to switch projects.

The reason I'm posting this here is that I have a vague feeling that it was someone on these boards who wrote it.

Anyone?
