I'm one of the lucky few who upgraded to 10.2.8 when it came out... Anyway!
I had no problems so far except that Safari doesn't seem to refresh anymore, unless I manually click the reload button. I haven't found a preference setting to force it to refresh, so it always load pages from the cache. Weird, because it never behaved that way before.

I don't know if it will make a difference, as I didn't download the upgrade before it got pulled, but have you tried clearing the cache?

I upgraded to 10.2.8, so I have v85.5 and I have the problem for the first time. Before the upgrade, it never hapened.
And yes, I did clear the cache, but once I visit a site, if I ever go back it doesn't refresh.

I came here to report the same problem. After installing the update, my browser doesn't reload pages automatically, I have to hit refresh. I was going to do a "Reset Safari" but It's a pain in the a## to re-enter all my passwords for the sites I visit. I suppose I'll have to try it eventually.

I was thinking about a temporary solution, like a script that empty the cache at launch, but it's still bugs me.

I came here to report the same exact thing, except I've moved back to Camino for the meanwhile. Safari also seems more sluggish now.

You can still disable the cache with Safari Enhancer

Thanks, Dale. That's a good short term solution. I hope this gets fixed soon, though.

The last 10.2.8 upgrade fixed it.
