Hey

I'm trying to figure out a way to share a SubEthaEdit document via Internet only, without exposing it to the people in our subnet (via Rendezvous).

I'm a Firewall newbie, so this might be simple or impossible

Any ideas?

You could just turn on access control (check the box in the share window) so you have to approve users before they can see the documents.

Ah, but it's security through obscurity I'm after, the key being knowledge of my server's IP.

A lot of the time I'm not there to grant access, so I'd like to leave access open. This, in turn, would then allow everybody else in the subnet to access it through Rendezvous, which I'd thus like to block.
