I've had Mac's at home/work since the Lisa but am new to OS X. I searched and found nothing directly addressing my situation, which surprised me a bit.
My wife and I share an email account for what I though were obvious reasons. We both see the "payment due" emails, etc.
Is there a workaround in Mail to allow this or do I need to bite the bullet and create another email account with my ISP?
That spanking new G5 was procured only after finally getting the WAF, and I see it slipping...

See if you can access your email via the IMAP protocol. That would make sure that once one of you views or deletes a mail, it stays viewed or deleted. You'll have to check with your ISP to see whether they support this or not.
