Just wondering if anyone has any experiences with versiontracker's subscriptions? I have an email address that i use exclusively for online forms and websites, it gets loads of spam. But for the free versiontracker subscription, i would have to use my .mac email, just wondering if i will get a ton of spam? Does VT share thier email list etc?

I havent done the VT sub yet... to this point my .mac is spam free and i dont want it to start.

Any feedback welcome.

TIA

I signed up for the offer the first day and I haven't gotten a single spam message in my .mac inbox yet. *knocks on wood*

I signed up and will have a year of version Tracker for free but no .mac in 2 days. so I don't think I will get any spam.

I've had my .Mac from day one and I get spam. I have no reason to believe any of it is from VersionTracker.

My .Mac is set to renew in 2 days ($107 after tax). Yuck.

I hate to point this out, but your response contributed absolutely nothing helpful to the thread...

Hey thanks. Topic ".mac + versiontracker = spam?"

Content of my post has all three of those words in it. Contribution? Yes.

But anyways, after rewording my post I realized that I don't subscribe to VersionTracker. I do, however have VersionTracker remember me, so my e-mail address is always in that box on the front page (which I confused with actual subscriptions).

Further I can say that I've been using VersionTracker for 4 years now and I don't see any reason for a top-notch company like VersionTracker to lower themselves to the likes of some PC-related companies that sell your information. Although with VersionTracker's rennovations as of about 3 months ago (where they changed the look and site functionality drastically), anything is possible.

Oye.
