I'm looking for software similar to forty-four that runs with 10.3. I cannot get forty-four to work on mac 10.3 for some reason.
Anyone have an suggestions?
forty-four basically takes a dvd and converts it to vcd/svcd/etc...

I think you are referring to forty-two. I can't really help you much as I am not using 10.3. However depending on what you used forty-two for maybe DVD2one is what you are after. FWIW have you tried the new Forty-Two DVD-MP/DVD-VX? Maybe they work with 10.3.
