I can access the email fine, I the built in Instant Messaging works. But If I launch AOL Instant Messenger Separately OS 9 throws a bomb up on the screen. If I launch the internet in AOL it crashes.
Now I installed IE and it works fine if I have AOL open and connected. But I don't this half ass option that I have created, I would like to use AOL (even though it's crap) because I am not the only user and it would be more convenient for the other users. AOL tech support sucks and they just have me going in circles deleting crap of my hard drive.

If anyone can help thx a bunch this thing has been plaguing me for almost a month.

AOL 5.0
OS 9.2.2

Sounds very much like an extension conflict to me.. so if you haven't already - uninstall it (i.e. to the trash my man) restart with the basic OS9 extension set, reinstall. After that, try slowly turning back on your old extensions.. as soon as the problem happens again you should be able to identify the conflict.

Also.. get DSL or cable! Life is to short for AOL.

Done All that previously still ain't working. I'm thinking of switching, I might just start a new thread asking what the best/cheapest dial up provider is cause AOL just continues to blow for me.
