Hi, long time listener, first time caller, love your show.
anyways.
i installed 10.2.8. everything seems to be ok, except that safari is now trashed. If i click on a link to a stuffit, quicktime, or audio file, it crashes abruptly(or a page that has an embedded qt or audio). repairing permissions did a lot of fixing, but didnt fix my safari problem. relevant entries from the console and safari crashlog follow
thanks
j

I would try trashing your cache and maybe even your prefs.

Speaking of Safari bugs, anyone notice that it crashes sometimes if you try hitting Command-Z in a textbox? Also, on some sites with basic authentication it has username/password amnesia and throws up multiple dialogs as images load. This is all with 1.0 under 10.2.6, BTW....

aha, fixed it. somehow the com.apple.quicktime.plugin.preferences got rewritten to zero KB. so none of the mime plugin settings were set. IE was reporting plugin not found, but atleast it didnt crash like safari... anyhow, deleting that file and restarting quicktime and safari seemed to fix it.
