Hey there,
I just worked around a Disk Utility "operation not permitted" problem with the below post:
repairing of permissions "not permitted" - why?
But; that leads me to another point: once worked around, Disk Utility corrected hundreds of files that had had incorrect permissions (.nib, .htm, etc.) within "./Applications". And to my knowledge, Disk Utility only looks out for Apple applications. So, is there a program that'll check non-Apple applications to see if they're permissions correct? I figure that whatever whacked my Apple app's permissions could also have whacked non-Apple app's permissions.
Thanks,
BD
