I have purchased the SLIMP3 device.

www.slimp3.com

In order for me to use the SLIMP3, I need to get all of my songs together on my main server computer. I need the iTunes application on my server computer to have all the songs & playlists ready to be imported into my SLIMP3 playlists.

I have 4 different computers with 4 different sets of songs and playlists. I need to import into the iTunes of my new server computer all of the songs & playlists from 4 other computers on my network.

Is this possible? I can easily use file sharing to bring all the music onto my server computer, but then I'll lose all of the playlists. I'm talking about over 2000 songs here, and really don't want to lose the playlists when I import.

Hope I made enough sense here,

lw

Wow that SliMP3 thing is pretty nice. It's unfortunate that you can't play iTunes Music Store files on it though, I've been getting more and more of my music from there now. The same thing happens with my TiVo and the Home Media Option. Maybe part of Apple's big announcement on Thursday will have something to do with this issue (along with the Windows Music Store)

Anyways, enough with my thing, try opening iTunes and choosing Export Library or Export Song List under the File Menu. Beyond that, I don't know what to do, but I guess it will spew out some files and maybe you can choose import on the other computer? I donno...Good luck with it though.
