How to install Adobe - illustrator and photoshop
on OSX without a classic system install ?

I have the upgrade CDs for photoshop 7 and illustrator 10
but only the full CDs for photoshop 5 and illustrator 8
which both need OS 8or9 installed on the
hard drive to install themselves properly.

Can you use CCC to install them on OSX
without having OS8-9 on it -jump one
process ?

What's it asking for in the install process from Classic? If you need to "Locate Photoshop" or a prior version, I believe you can simply insert the CD into your CD-ROM drive and choose that and it'll install just fine...

You don't have to have them installed. I had PhotoShop 4 that I used to get the upgrade to 7.0. When I installed 7 on my X-only system, it first searched for a previously installed system. When it couldn't find it, it asked to me input the serial number. I did, and the install proceeded without a hitch.
