Does anybody know how to get Outlook contacts from a Windows 98 box into a new G5's Address Book. It has to be done via email because he has no burner, and no way to network the machines together.

A new switcher friend of mine wants to accomplish this so he does not have to retype all this info into into Address Book.

Thanks!

I couldn't figure this out either. Apple's "switch" web site was useless. They just said to drag and drop them into Contacts, and it didn't work for me. I'm just going to start over from scratch.

export as vcards if it gives you the option. otherwise, just dragging and dropping from outlook's address book window onto your windows desktop should create a vcard file. then attach these files in email(s). send them off, and on the Mac's end you should be able to drag them into Address Book's window, thereby importing them.

Cool, I shall let him know. I also saw somewhere a software package that someone sells that automates this very task for $10.

Thanks guys!
