Depending on the video/audio format used you can use AsfTools to first convert to AVI, then Divx Doctor or QT Pro to save as a Quicktime movie file. I've done some perfect conversions, but all of those files had video/audio that there were decoders for. If the video format is MP42 or MP43 (aka Microsoft MPEG4v2 or Microsoft MPEG4v3, correct me if I'm wrong) you can convert easily as there is a Quicktime codec for those.
there's also a QT codec for MPG4/MP41 (MSMPEG4v1).
if the asftools thing doesn't work, VirutalDub 1.3c (not newer versions) can remux ASF/WMV files to avi, as does ffmpeg (this one always mangles the frame durations though). For OS 9 there is a rough little app called ASFConverter that uses the WMP library for decoding (if you have problems with 3rd party decoders). Also EO-Video and TMPGEnc for windows decode ASF/WMV but these will all want to recode it, not remux it. If all else fails, there's the screen-capture route á la Snapz Pro
