Hey,

Safari has become very very unstable for me. After surfing for a few minutes, it will beachball, hang, and then turn red in the force quit menu. I have trashed my prefs, and repaired disk permissions. I'm running 10.2.6 on a 933 G4, college ethernet. The only thing I can think of that I have changed recently is installing the newer flash player, but that was awhile ago. Any thoughts?

I also experienced the same problems, and there are older threads describing the same situation. No of those efforts fixed my problem.

I'd been itching to do a fresh drive wipe and reinstall. lo and behold no more safari issues. And I still use pithhelmet, so it doesn't appear to be that.

Linfidels harken! 'The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.'
