I've got Canvas 7 SE, which was a so-so app. I mean, looks good on paper, but I did not like the usability. But it's the only think like it I can find.
Anyone know of something else in the same genre and price range (less than $100)?
Here's what I need. I need to draw simple 2D diagrams that have built-in English measurements. I need to do floor plans for my house and simple carpentry projects.
Ideally, I'd love something that was smart enough to snap edges together, use standard US wood dimensions (1x2, 2x4, etc), and give me a parts list when I'm done. But that's a pipe dream. I don't think that exists for the woodworking hobbyist.
If it has some templates built it for common woodworking shapes, interior doors, etc, that would be nice. Patterns and colors for wood would be nice, too.
But bare minimum, I need a vector-based (object oriented) drawing program that accepts English units (ft, in) for under $100.... and native on OSX.
