I'm new to DragThing 5 (or any DragThing) and was wondering if:

1. One can have a standard applications window not always be on top? ie I'd like key apps to have that.

2. Right now I click in a pane on an item, it starts, I have to click the pane toolbar to minimize it again. I looked but can't find a way of indicating I want the layer to minimize on selecting an item. ie Fold back up. Possible?

Thanks.

I'm also trying to figure out if it's possible to keep DragThing 'always on top'? I've tried every single setting I think.

It's under Dock Options/General. There you will see the option to float the dock. I think you can only chose always if you've registered the program.

Auto minimize is also under Dock Options/Advanced. There you will see the check boxed for Minimize In Background/Maximize in Foreground. This one is a little tricky positioning the dock after it's minimized because it will maximize when you try to click the minimized dock. When this happens manually minimize it from the Window menu, then it will let you move the minimized version. Do the opposite when positioning the maximized one.

I set my Applications window at the top right, then made it function as a drawer, and assigned a keyboard shortcut to expand/collapse it.
