Hi,

I've just written a little WinAMP 2.x input plugin that plays back iTunes Music Store ".m4p" files. The computer still has to be authorized (the plugin doesn't circumvent the copy protection - so it's absolutely legal to use it , but people who prefer WinAMP over iTunes (I personally don't understand why) can use iTunes to buy their songs and play/organize them with WinAMP if they have the plugin installed.

However, I live in Germany and cannot buy any songs from the Music Store yet. So I'm looking for someone in the US who uses WinAMP 2.9 and has bought/will buy a song from the iTMS and who will play it back in WinAMP after installing my plugin.

You can download the installer from:
http://www.abitours.net/m4pinput.exe

It would be really great if anyone could help me and tell me if the plugin works as it should, e.g. does it display the correct tags?

Thank you very much in advance,

Tom

I forgot to tell that the plugin will be free , that's why I cannot pay anyone for testing it.

I can try this out. Does it require WinAMP 2.9? I think I have 2.7 on my old PC at home, and I have a few tunes I bought from iTMS.

Scarpa, thank you very much!

I don't think that it requires 2.9, it should work with 2.7, too. You need to have iTunes for Windows installed, however, in order to authorize the PC.

Actually I think you only have to have QT 6.4 installed to authorize?
