I am in the process of importing songs from my CDs into iTunes. Instead of dragging a song from the CD into the Library, I am dragging a song directly into a specific playlist. This works great.

Now lets say that one song is being imported, and I am listening to another song from the CD. I decide that I also want to import that song, but to a different playlist. I drag it to the different playlist, BUT iTunes copies it into the first playlist (the one where the other song is being imported).

I checked to make sure I was dragging it to the correct folder, and I was. If I wait until the first song is completely done being imported, then I go ahead and drag the other song to the other playlist, it goes to that other playlist just fine. It's only when the first song is being imported and I try to drag another song to a different playlist that it gets automatically sucked into the playlist where that first song is being imported.

Is this a known glitch?

Thanks,
Mike
