Hello, I have a question about the iTMS and authorized computers.

About 2 weeks ago, I formatted and reinstalled Panther on my iBook, but forgot to deauth the computer before reformatting. Anyways, I authed the new install. Then, I authed my PC to the same account when iTunes for Windows came out.

My question is....how many computers does Apple think I have authed? 2 or 3? And if they do think that first Jag installed is authed, is there a way for me to deauth it so I don't run into problems down the road if I ever get an additional Mac? Thanks

You can view the number of authorized computers by viewing your account. To do that, click on the account login button in the upper right-hand corner of the iTMS and enter your password.

I've forgotten to deauthorize my mac many times before overwriting the installation. I have to reauthorize it, but Apple has never overcounted the number of authorized Macs. I suspect you have nothing to worry about.
