If you are attempting to copy your music library to your pc using windows networking and you are receiving errors this may help you. I have found out the hardway (took me about an hour to figure out) that you must make sure your directories are compatible with windows file system rules. basically, on a mac i am able to have a file that has the artist as T.A.T.U, this is fine . But it also means that my library contains a folder that has .'s in the name. This will piss windows off. (ie: it won't work)
So do yourself a favor, before attempting to copy your music library over to a pc, do a search for all artist and album names with . 's in them and rename accordingly. Every artist and every album in your collection has its own folder with that name and this causes the problem.
